Jeep Turn Signal

The turn signal light is usually found on both ends of the Jeep vehicle, wherein
it is used to inform other motorists that you are making a necessary turn. Jeep
turn signal can be included as one of the most underutilized device on your Jeep
vehicle. However, signaling is one of the most important aspects in driving. It
is used to provide warning to other motorists about your impending move to avoid
harmful surprise.
Jeep turn signal is operated through the switch that is found under the steering
wheel which is fairly simple to use. You pull the lever up and push it down to
enable the turn signal lights to flash. The turn signal system gets it power when
the ignition key is on. The power from the battery goes through the turn signal
flasher and directly flows to the turn signal switch.
Depending on the position of the Jeep turn signal, the power also stops in the
middle of the switch or goes directly in either left or right turn signal light.
The indicator from the dashboard also flashes according to the flow of power.
Some turn signal systems have a thermal flasher that is located near the fuse
panel under the dashboard. Others have a self canceling mechanism in which a spring
loaded roller is used.
After a few minutes upon turning on the Jeep turn signal, it will automatically
turn off. This mechanism is used on modern Jeep vehicles and it is valuable to
avoid sending a signal that can confuse other motorist on your next move.
